Upbit is a Korean cryptocurrency exchange founded in October 2017 by Kakao Corp in partnership with Bittrex. The system provides its users with over 200 trading pairs. It is integrated with Kakao Stock software, which is based on the Kakao Talk Messenger platform.
Upbit is available only for traders from South Korea. Residents of other countries cannot register on its website. It supports fiat deposits in South Korean Won (KRW). The minimum order size is 500 KRW, 0.0005 BTC, or 0.0005 ETH. The charges for both market makers and market takers are 0.25%. Upbit does not charge deposit fees.
The exchange’s website is available only in Korean.
